The Chardonnay is buttery and exactly how I like my Chardonnay. It's bold and in your face, whilst being nicely balanced with floral notes, pear, coconut and vanilla. A beautiful number, full of complexity and layers.
The Bulls Head also does food. The kind of food you can stuff in your face whilst having a pint with your mates. It's comfort food at it's best and highly unpretentious.
The Japanese believe that food should be enjoyed with the five senses and this is something, I too, am very passionate about.
The most unusual drink of the night and one that will be sure to wake your date up is the Thai Chilli Crush. A wildcard of a drink, this cocktail was recommended by our waitress..
Rob Wood is so knowledgeable and charismatic, we need more of this in hospitality. The passion for his craft is evidently clear and for this reason I will shout about it on the rooftops.
I can definitely see myself regularly perched at the bar with a cocktail or glass of wine in hand. I'll be back for a masterclasses and to taste more wine here very soon!
